EARBY-based West Craven Insurance Services has this week announced the itinerary for the annual charity golf day at Skipton Golf Club.
The event will take place on Friday 30th May 2014 at Skipton Golf Club. Registration and Brunch is at 11.00am and the golf will start at 12.00 noon.
The event will culminate in a 2 course meal and presentation, which will include excellent prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as the day’s longest drive, and nearest pin.
Entry is set to cost £200 per team of four people and teams must be submitted along with payment to either Ian Clarkson or Craig Walton at West Craven Insurance.
West Craven Insurance Service’s Managing Director Ian Clarkson, said: “We are really looking forward to the event and it should prove to be a great day. However, there are only a limited number of places available, so we’re asking people to book early to avoid disappointment.”
“West Craven Insurance Services has recently extended its relationship as a sponsor of Skipton Golf Club and this is the first event we’ve organised since we committed to another three years,” added Mr. Clarkson.
“We see the relationship as part of our support for our community, so money raised from the golf day will be contributed to Pendleside hospice. Pendleside is a wonderful organisation and provides such a valuable service, so we’re very proud to support them. That’s why we’re asking people to dig deep and get involved with what should prove to be a really excellent day.”
Last year’s event managed to raise in excess of £1,130 for Pendleside Hospice with Stephen Greenwood’s team being crowned overall winners on the day closely followed by teams from Auto Legal Protection Services and AXA Insurance.
Mr. Clarkson added: “We will also be holding a raffle on the day and we are asking if businesses or individuals can help out by donating a prize to help this worthwhile charity, anything you can provide would be a fantastic help.”
