Insurance business backs Skipton Golf Club for three more years
EARBY-based West Craven Insurance Services has this week announced that it is extending its sponsorship agreement with Skipton Golf Club.
The business has sponsored the golf club for the previous three years and this renewal will see the association continue until 2017 at least.
The deal will see West Craven Insurance continue to display advertising boards on and around the first tee and thirteenth tee, as well as the halfway house. The business will also feature prominently in the Golf Club’s newsletter and on the website.
One of the key elements of the deal will be the sponsor’s annual charity golf day, which has previously seen West Craven Insurance support both Manorlands and Pendleside hospices.
West Craven Insurance Service’s Managing Director Ian Clarkson, said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our sponsorship of Skipton Golf Club. The deal helps us build awareness amongst local business owners and their families who are members at the club.”
“However, we see the relationship as part of our commitment to our community, as the charity day helps us deliver our Corporate and Social Responsibility programme,” added Mr. Clarkson. “We’re very proud to support such a wonderful club – not only is set at the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, but through its Junior Academy it is recognised by the English Golf Union for introducing many young people to the game.”
Beverley Keyworth, Business Manager at Skipton Golf Club, said: “West Craven Insurance Services have been a very supportive sponsor over the last three years, so it’s great news that they have extended the relationship. It’s a demonstration of an excellent local business that shows a real commitment to the area.”
